Privacy

Dispatch runs on your machine. We don’t have accounts, analytics or telemetry, and we never see your code or your board. Last updated 11 October 2026.

The app and its daemon

  • Your code, tasks, runs, messages and memory stay on your machine: in your repository, or in a local database with a git receipt log you own.
  • The app sends us nothing. There is no account, no telemetry and no crash reporting.
  • To check for updates, the app downloads a release manifest from GitHub (github.com/wsoule/dispatch/releases). GitHub sees that request.
  • License keys are checked on your machine, with no network call.

Services you choose to connect

Dispatch talks to these only when you set them up, using your own accounts and keys. Their own privacy policies apply.

  • Your coding agent’s provider, such as Anthropic or OpenAI, through the agent you run (Claude Code, Codex and others). Agents see the code and tasks you give them.
  • GitHub or your git host, when you push, pull or open pull requests.
  • Linear, if you turn on Linear sync.
  • TypeSafe, if you add a TypeSafe key: task and message text is sent to TypeSafe for judgments, such as telling a new topic from a follow-up.

Teams

Teammates sync a board through a git branch you host, or through the Dispatch relay if your team switches to it. The relay stores and forwards signed, sealed operations between your team’s machines and can’t read what is sealed. Nothing goes to the relay unless your team chooses it.

The Claude plugin

The Dispatch.foo plugin for Claude Code and Cowork downloads the @dispatch-foo/mcp package from npm once, then talks only to the Dispatch daemon on your own machine over local HTTP. When Claude messages someone through it, Dispatch delivers the message: to a teammate through your team’s sync, as described above, or to an outside A2A agent your project owner registered. Nothing else leaves your machine.

The website and the hosted demo

  • dispatch.foo sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser, to run the site.
  • The hosted demo gives you a sandbox for 30 minutes. It resets after 30 minutes without activity, and nothing you do there is kept.
